Liam began his journey in carpentry starting out as a labourer, gaining hands-on experience and learning the foundations of the trade from the ground up. The more time he spent on-
site, the more passion he developed for the work, eventually leading him to officially sign on as a first-year apprentice with Maplestone Homes. Since then, Liam has thrown himself into the industry, learning a wide range of skills and gaining experience across many different aspects of carpentry and construction.

After finishing Year 10, Liam spent some time figuring out what direction he wanted to take in life. As his ambition grew, he realised carpentry was something he genuinely enjoyed and could build a future around. Since joining Maplestone Homes, he has shown strong dedication to improving his skills and knowledge every day.

Liam takes pride in the amount he has already learnt throughout his apprenticeship journey. To help develop his understanding even further, he writes down everything he learns in a journal each afternoon, allowing him to reflect on his progress and continue building on his experience. His commitment, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic have already helped him gain valuable knowledge within the trade.
